Job Description:
Galen Data is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales professional to lead the domestic and international growth of the Galen Cloud, a software platform purpose built for the medical device industry and connected medical devices. Focus includes driving the revenue strategy, strategic alignment with marketing, and working closely with the executive team reporting directly to the CEO.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish a clear and concise vision for the sales strategy and execution
• Develop and manage the sales team
• Work within the current sales and marketing foundation with a focus on improvements for scalability
• Work closely with marketing to ensure alignment of messaging
• Lead effort to improve incentives across the sales organization to spur goals alignment
• Create sales forecast, revenue projections, and budgets in direct support of sales activity
• Contribute to a documented, repeatable, and scalable sales process
• Build and maintain relationships within the medical device industry to drive growth of sales
• Contribute to the growth of medical device innovation by supporting mission critical software

Qualifications:

• Sales experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms consummate with a VP of Sales position
• Sales experience in the medical device industry consummate with a VP of Sales position
• Experience with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
• Experience with managing strategic partner relationships
• Eager to work in a dynamic, startup environment
• A positive attitude and wiliness to go the extra mile in the digital health space
• Bring innovative ideas for product improvements
• College degree or equivalent experience

Schedule:
• Normal business hours
• Monday to Friday
• Very flexible hours, able to work remotely
